High Country Classic 2025
On behalf of the Methven Golf Club, welcome to the annual High Country Classic Golf Tournament.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces, as well as some new ones, joining us for this premier golfing event. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a first-time participant, we are delighted to have you with us this weekend.
This tournament is a celebration of the game we all love, and an opportunity to highlight everything that makes our Mid-Canterbury so special. We’ve worked hard to ensure this event will be both challenging and enjoyable, with a competitive spirit that reflects the excellence and sportsmanship we all value.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has worked tirelessly to make this event possible. And with a special acknowledgement of our major sponsors Molloy Agriculture and Ski Time who have helped grow this event into the highlight of our calendar!

SATURDAY 25th JANUARY · Terrace Downs
8.00am – Welcome & course instructions after picking up your scorecards
9.30am – Briefing (driving range closes at 9.30am)
9.45am – Go to your starting tees
10.00am – Shotgun start (packed lunch & refreshments available during the round)
2.30-5.00pm – Bar available.
SATURDAY - Ski Time
4.30-6.00pm – 300 raffle tickets for sale
6.00pm – Raffle draw
6.30pm – Dinner service
7.30pm – Auction scheduled start
SUNDAY 26th JANUARY · Methven Golf Course
8.00am – Driving range open (balls made available at range)
8.45am – Scorecards available
9.45am – Go to tees after picking up your scorecard
10.00am – Shotgun start (BBQ and refreshments available during the round)
2.00pm – Raffle tickets on sale
3.30pm – Raffle prizes drawn. Presentation of High Country Classic Trophy and other prize winners. Farewells and thanks.
